You could walk for miles and miles if you wanted to, as well as spend time queuing for the latest attractions. So if this doesn’t sound ideal to you, then have you thought about adding elements of luxury to your weekend in London? You don’t have to spend a lot in order to have a bit more of a luxurious time to help you maintain a more laid back pace rather than a manic or busy pace.

Sound interesting? Here are some of the ways that you can add luxury to your experience of London.

The tube is a great thing in London, and can make life easier for many people. But if you don’t want to be cramped up on a sweaty tube carriage, then there are plenty of options for you. You could look to hire a driver to take you to the places that you want. But if your budget isn’t quite to that, then using Uber or black cabs can be a bit of a nicer way to travel, rather than on the tube. If you plan your route and itinerary in advance, then you can make sure that you choose the best route to go to cover all that you need to.

Afternoon Tea

If you are in London and want to have a bit more of a luxurious time, then an afternoon tea is a must. Afternoon tea can be such a luxury treat and can give you a nice reason to dress up. If you want to add some more luxury, then you could think about choosing somewhere with a pianist, for another air of sophistication. Planning in advance really is a must, and that can help you to get a good price for it too.

A Night at the Theatre

After having a lovely afternoon with cake and bubbles, then it could be time for a bit of culture in the city. The good news is that in London, there are so many things to choose from, so there is something for all tastes, from musicals, to ballet, opera, and traditional plays. West End shows London is something that can make your luxury trip complete. Booking in advance is usually best, but you can get some tickets on the day from places in Covent Garden and Leicester Square.

The Shard

The Shard is a pretty standard attraction for tourists. But if you are planning to up the luxury, then how about booking a table at one of the restaurants in The Shard? You get breakfast, lunch, or dinner with one of the best views around, and don’t have to be surrounded by tourists getting to the top floor.
