It’s not an everyday occurrence for me to be invited to brunch at Selfridge, let alone a brunch date with a brand,
Needless to say, I was delighted.
Making an effort to each breakfast/ lunch, is something you all know, I am working hard to incorporate into my lifestyle and its no easy feat but with such a beautifully presented restaurant, along with beautifully presented and delectable food, makes my life a lot easier!
For such a beautiful and socially active brand (on social media), the Aubaine Restaurant is relatively quite in terms of noise and definitely not overcrowded, which is such a delight. The staff were attentive – maybe even a little too quick to ask for our order – but extremely presentable and well equipped to assist us with choosing the right dishes to our dietary requirements.
Being a non-egg eater, brunch menus are very overwhelming, but I loved the selection of non-egg dishes and decided on the Le Croq’ Aubaine Végétarien – basically a Spinach & pine nuts, goat’s cheese, caramelised onions toasted sandwich on sourdough bread – along with the most darling cup of (skinny) coffee-latte.
