@AfrohairShow 2015 Review

Cantu Stand

What a tremendous bank holiday weekend it was last week for black hair in London!
Not only did we see the return of Curlvolution but also Europe’s biggest hair, beauty and lifestyle
exhibition for young Black women, Afro Hair & Beauty Show returned to the Business Design Centre, Islington for it’s tremendous, annual extravaganza – all in the same bank holiday weekend!

This year, it was sponsored by ORS UK who are definitely making waves this year with their brand awareness and developments… and I’m talking big changes! The kind of life-changing moves which will make it easier for brown girls & guys everywhere to maintain & explore with their hair. Expect launches of the super cute Shealicious Treatment packs arriving in Tesco stores soon!, Curls Unleashed revealing a new packaging design, as well as a wider product range for Curls Unleashed and popular, new oil additions to Monoi Oil.

Monoi Oil

I had a great time exploring the many brands catering to men and women like me as well as seeing the upcoming generation learning how to embrace their culture too!

One thing I can assure you I am excited about, which I found out only at the Afro Hair & Beauty Show, is the launch of Palmer’s Manuka Flower Honey Haircare line which features a Creamy Conditioning Cream, Leave In Conditioner, Strengthening Shampoo, Nourishing Conditioner and Finishing Hair Oil, sold out almost immediately at the event. Once I get more news on this range, I promise to let you know asap! Palmer’s are one of my favourite brands and everything about this branding is on point.

Thank you to Afro Hair & Beauty Show’s Press Team for allowing me to finally be apart of this historic event and the ORS UK team for being so informative and generous with their Blogger’s Lounge! I had a fab time and cant wait to do it ALL again!

P.S For all my Ghanaian Naturalistas – Look out for Curlvolution Accra…coming soon!
