With the Olympic ceremony only weeks away, London and in particular, the fashion industry is already preparing for huge increases of sportswear sales. For this reason, brands like Nike & Adidas are making headlines with big budgeted events, but global retailer H&M, has gone one step further with the launch of their sportswear pop up shops in London’s St Martin’s Courtyard, Covent Garden and a second store in London’s Stratford Westfield.
Both stores (open for 10 weeks, coinciding with the London Olympics 2012) will stock women’s, men’s and kid’s sportswear, while an exclusive range of limited edition red, white and blue clothing will be available in the stores.
