RECAP: CP’s Travel Diaries – Paris

This has been a delayed travel post, but as my Grandmother constantly reminds me, ‘Nothing happens before it’s time’

So here are my images from my beautiful escape to Paris where I stayed with my long time friend Larissa who is living in the city that I am super in love with.

My Parisian chapperone & I visited, on my personal requests, Le Louvre, Champs Elysees and the famous Eiffiel Tower…

Absolutely loved the French version of our Oyster card called a Navigo pass but as I wasn’t there for very long, I stuck with single journey passes, called Carnets which cost 1.70 Euros for one single journey and around 12 Euros for a book of 10 I believe… bargain!

My first trip to the infamous Shakespeare & Co bookshop where I attended my first Mad Hatters Tea Party

Whilst browsing the awesome books available to purchase, I was literally blown away by this stunning French lady wearing this Jumpsuit by Zara teamed with equally gorgeous flats. I instantly had the feeling I had arrived in Paris…lol Is that weird?

Thank God for these buskers. If they didn’t wake me with the loud instrumentals and singing, I would have missed my stop!

Side of The Notradame

Treca Interiors Paris – I’m in love with this store and their furniture, especially their bedding! I wonder if they’d ship me over a new bed?

Just look at these doors… I’m not crazy but the details I found on many a doorway had me completely in awe, so I had to share…

Little antique treasures I found…how cute! And they even made space for a black dolly!

My beautiful Larissa outside Le Louvre

How scenic is this image outside Le Louvre? I cant believe I took it, it’s so beautiful!

Dining like the French – If you want to try the best croque-monsieur in Paris, head to Le Gymnase. Its amazing! And you really do meet characters in here. Look out for an American photographer who is very stereotypically ‘French’. I think she’s hilarious!

After taking this stunning image of Larissa, we decided to head into the posh side of town, also known as, Le Marais, where we found the best situated bar for spotting hotties, La FavouriteWithin sitting down and ordering 2 cocktails, we spotted at least 10 cute guys! Literally they were just walking past up one by one….I was in heaven…Then in true ‘Chloe fashion’ I started chatting up a fellow drinker Frederik, who then became our new friend for the night

Keep your eyes peeled for my next trip to Paris is the next couple of months, where I will share my  visits to the Colette store as well as a few shopping destinations I found wandering the historic Parisian streets.

Au revoir Paris, jusqu’à la prochaine fois xo
