After listening to some PR’s and blogs hype over the brand Farah, I decided, before jumping on any band wagon or taking it as far as saying “yeah that brands cool”, I’d do some research of my own.
Now did you know that Farah, known most recently for its sharp, slim cut, tailored menswear pieces, was originally born in Texas, USA in the 1920’s and didn’t reach it’s current cult stature in the UK until the 1970’s? Well neither did I but I love the fact the UK adopts these kinda brands and makes them HOT AS HELL!
Last month, Farah Vintage, which is loved by many including myself and model Jay Camilleri, sent me their behind the scenes video directed and edited by the one and only PHAROAH.
Not only am I really loving all the pieces from this seasons collection, but I’m particularly loving the backing track (in the Citizen’s of Farah video below) by Little Ghosts Ft XO Man – Je Suis Fantasique. TUNE!
And is a perfect representation of the direction the brand, Citizens of Farah is targeting now.
Take a look here or watch the behind the scenes video by clicking play below.
Citizens of Farah went in hard and I will be completely flabbergasted if this collection doesn’t fly of the shelves.
Here are my picks from the SS12 collection:
