#TheIslandBreak @VisitJerseyCI - #TravelTuesday

There are many opportunities and surprises which make blogging, for me, all the more worthwhile. But my past experiences have just been majorly topped by the lovely travel people at Visit Jersey.
Celebrating their latest campaign & competition which is open to you all here, I was sent this surprise VR Viewer to help promote their campaign further.

Usually, I wouldn't post such things, especially as I haven't yet visited the island myself, but due to Visit Jersey's sheer randomness, I was delighted to!

Using the VR Viewer, I literally felt as if I was a bird flying over the beautiful blue seas and costal beaches of Jersey. Never, ever have I experienced a vision like this before and I am so very grateful to Visit Jersey's Tourism board for this. I'd be even more grateful for the chance to spend even a weekend in this fantastic destination!

Jersey has been described (by many) as an island shaped by the sea where some of the most astonishing tides in the world circle the coast and feed the land. An island that's small on size, but big on personality, where country lanes open to cliff top views and the sea is never more than ten minutes away.

Now, I want to discover the island escape of Jersey. Should I ever get the chance, this is the itinerary I would follow...

STAY

La Crête Fort  is a Jersey Heritage site which dates back to 1830.  The breathtaking, self-catering apartment with stunning sea views, not only sleeps up to five people, but the Fort also features a flight of stone steps will take you up to a large granite room with a vaulted ceiling with access to a secluded private garden terrace sheltered by granite walls.

SEE & DO

Just nine miles by five, Jersey’s size makes it easy to fit plenty into a weekend. With heritage discoveries on it's doorstep and miles of beaches and bays to explore, beach walks, coastal driving routes and memorable food experiences overlooking the sea, this location makes living life to the full all the more available for those who seek it!

EAT

As a small island famous for its food, Jersey’s bursting with flavour from abundant local produce and rich creamy milk to seafood straight from the island’s clear waters. From beach cafes to chic restaurants, farm stalls to village delis, Jersey is packed with amazing eating experiences to add an authentic local flavour to your stay.

Fancy visiting the spectacular Jersey, just a stone's throw from the UK so it's extremely accessible? Or have you been to Jersey before and have a few travel tips to share with me and those who are inexperienced with this gorgeous destination?
