@KeziahCONNECTS x @NailsandBrows Event Review

We've all been told there is an art to networking, and to a degree, there is!
However the trick to getting the best out of any networking event is to ensure it appeals to you -
There are so many different types of networking events out there so to ensure you attend the right one for you, pick an event subject and content which is true to you!

A few weeks ago, I attended my second Keziah CONNECTIONS event hosted by the wonderfully talented Natalie of Beauty Pulse London at the NEW & stunning,
Nails & Brows Salon on Berkely Street, Mayfair which saw the likes of start-up entrepreneurs, writers, bloggers, business owners and media professionals all with one common resemblance - being professional, women of colour, in attendance.

"Keziah CONNECTIONS is a networking and mentoring

organisation for the entrepreneurial, enterprising,

professional woman of colour who has a passion for all

things business and a flair for beauty and lifestyle. During our

monthly networking and education evenings, prominent and

up-and-coming figures from within the beauty and lifestyle

sector share their expertise and experience to encourage

and motivate the audience"

Aallexxy to get her brow's perfected by The BrowHunter

At the event, my nails were painted by a lovely Nails & Brows technician and my messy set of eyebrows transformed into the wonderful frames of my face.

I really did enjoy the experience. From the clean walls to simplistic decor and fixtures, to the long nail bar which actually encourages you to engage and communicate with your fellow 'nail did'ers' - I had a great conversation with a professional woman who had just finished work and looked great in her all black ensemble.

She in turn had a great conversation with a gentleman who is a regular at the salon and likes to get a hot wax manicure every now and then.

Apart from all the lush treats available at the event which included a complimentary polish in Essie's Topless & Barefoot (I adore this shade) and a 'brow-plenish' by up and coming brow technician The Brow Hunter, I also met some really lovely, like minded women each with their own fascinating stories and entrepreneurial plans, including the  founder of Nail and BrowsSherrille Riley who in January 2012 literally found and tirelessly pursued the location after she noticed a demand for premium nail and brow grooming that offered both a luxurious yet affordable experience in the Mayfair area.

I really could not express any more how much I enjoyed visiting and being apart of the Keziah Connections event but I can tell you that going forward, expect to see me at every event! Want to join in on the action?

Find out about the upcoming Keziah Connections event here!
Hope to meet you at the next event!
