I recently began using Elemis White Flowers Eye & Lip Make Up Remover after hearing an awful lot about the brand and generally being keen to test it out myself.
I have to admit my faults as I used to be the kind of girl that went to bed with make up on but since trying Elemis, I'm more than happy to lie in bed and remove my make up with the help of this product.
As time goes on, I've noticed how much mascara really irritates my eyes and how much of a bugger it is to get off at night. Sometimes when you think you've removed all traces of eye lacquer, you jump in the shower and step out with mascara grit hanging underneath your eyes. I absolutely hate this so I definitely put Elemis White Flower Eye & Lip Make Up to the test on many occasions and it surprised me each and every time.
I love the Elemis White Flowers Eye & Lip Make Up Remover for it's oily texture which not only soothed my sensitive eye areas but also leaves it feeling blissfully hydrated without the greasy feel. The biggest 'pro' for this product has to be it's smell. I love the refreshing smell of white peonies!
Elemis White Flowers Eye & Lip Make Up Remover
Key Ingredients: White Flowers Blend: White water lily to tone and refresh whilst white peony extract hydrates.
White Tea: Naturally rich in anti-oxidants to help protect the skin against damage from external aggressions such as UV and pollution. Traditionally used for eye-bathing.
Marine Spring Water: Naturally rich in minerals, essential for healthy looking skin. Lowers trans-epidermal water loss by stimulating the production of skin lipids.
Vitamin B5: Penetrates deep into skin and helps stimulate repair and increase moisture. Conditions the lashes. Soothing, especially for sensitive, dry, or irritated skin.
I do however have a few tips and warnings to add to this review.
- I love this product but I would note that this make up remover must be shaken well before use.
- The Elemis White Flowers Make Up Remover definitely has an oily trace to it so be warned if you already have oily skin or if you don't like having a moisturised face to go to sleep with, to use this product sparingly.
- I also learnt a little tip from Celebrity Make Up Artist, Caroline Fraser at a recent Simple event - When using make up removal products, switch from general cotton pads to baby wipes. This is extremely effective in removing make up in no time.
Are you a sucker for falling asleep with a face full of make up like me? Would you be interested in using Elemis? I'd love to hear your general thoughts below...
