DAY 1: Katch PR AW12 Press Day

Last week Thursday, I had the pleasure of visiting Katch PR's fabulously presented press day, which was held in the vibrantly dynamic Cirque Du Soir members club on Ganton Street London W1. As a friend of Katch PR's Anita Keshi (AE) and a newly formed friendship with her beautifully cute colleague Ellie, I got an exclusive look at their fabulous brands including Delada - a favourite of Dame Kelly HolmesMath Collective (such an exquisite brand, that is super affordable and wearable), shoes by Cleo BSalima Hughes Bespoke JewelleryMiss Matahari (newly launched fashion/ sportswear line), Arrogant Cat and my favourite collection of the evening, Zeynep Tusun.

On the night, the Katch PR team treated us, the fashion insiders, to spray tans (just in time for the sun we've been experiencing of late), nail designs and superb threading by the technicians from Portobello Studio - I'm hooked!

In our goodie bags, the most delicious and may I add, 'healthy' crisps I've had all year! Popchips and a tube of Blanx Teeth Whitening gel which I will review for you at a later date.

Getting back to the fashion, here are my favourite picks;

I love the versatile styling options Cleo B offers with these fabulous shoe clips!
These clips can jazz up any shoe for any occasion!

I was pleasantly suprised to learn that Math Collective's boucle pieces are actually made in the same factory as those by the legendary fashion label, Chanel. Save your money girls and get your Math Collective pieces asap! I've heard their tweed-style bags are flying like hot cakes!

I love this Math Collective double collared shirt! So on trend and would look gorgeous teamed with tailored trousers or Math's black pencil skirt. Images will be followed shortly.xo

I would die for this Arrogant Cat Jackson Jacket! Just look at how beautiful it is!
This show stoopping jacket also comes in colours black & blue but retails at an excruciating £229

Delada's detailing is to die for! I'm after their chain accessories, seen here in the lookbook teamed over a shirt. GAWJUS!

Posing in the image above, is the fabulous Neslie, who manages all affairs to do with Istanbul based designer Zeynep Tusun's collection within the UK. She's wearing pieces from the previous collection which I will delve further into in the next few weeks, fo sho!

Above is one of my most desired pieces of the evening. A Zeynep Tusun chiffon/ plastic blouse with attention to detailing collar bar. I'm in love with it! I cant wait to get someone styled in it!
Isn't it just lush!! Its been featured in i-D too! Check it out!

Fashion Show at The Battery Club

Oh! What a busy night I've had!! After finishing a beautiful and profuctive day working on SEO strategies, I popped down to Katch PR's incredible press day and then got myself to the highly anticipated Battery Club fashion show with products from some of the UK's leading designer high street labels including Reiss, LK Bennett and Stella & Dot jewellery.
I made some great contacts, enjoying finger licking canapes and sampled the most gorgeous fashion pieces. Just have a look!

I bumped into Reiss's Canary Wharf Manager Jo Grimbleby, who I spotted wearing the most gorgeous digitally printed Kara shirt ever, available on the Reiss website here

I also met with Stella & Dot's founding leader Michelle Allen who was just lovely! Follow her on twitter @MicheAllen
We did the whole social media thing including tweeting and instagraming instantly, pictures of her gorgeous jewellery collection which you can purchase here

I feel in love with the Chantilly Lace Cuff which I may have to sacrifice having myself and present to my Mother for her 50th birthday this April. What do you think?

Huge thanks to the Battery Club for having me *again* lol xo

Plan B - "Ill Manors"

Just when I thought I'd heard the last of responses to the infamous 'London Riots of 2011', Hackney based & East London raised talent Plan B has bounced back from the shadows with his interpretation of what's really going on in London and the possible reasons for these ugly acts of frustration and ignorance that we read in the papers of today and admittedly what 'some' of us are used to seeing.

I do love Plan B aka Ben Drew. That dude has real passion!

Take a look at the video (directed by Channel 4 Drama 'Top Boy''s director Yann Demange) here and below, Plan B's interview with MisterJam on BBC's 1Xtra highlighting his reasons for the single.

@ChloePierreLDN shares Vintage Finds

My Mother once thought of it as one of my many fazes but how wrong was she!
I LOVE Vintage and have been a serious collector of vintage clothing for over 5 years now.
At one point I had over 50 daily emails from vintage collectors from all over the globe!
One of my firm favourites though, was Dorothea's Closet. Its just full of such exquisite pieces that take you down film memory lane.

Look at a few pieces I sourced online...like this sheath dress...very festival like

And this gown is very old Hollywoof Glmour...just look at that beautiful open back feature

Now I was in awe when I found this Lattice Body Dress...I've been searching for a Lattice dress for about 5 years now but never found one that would go so perfectly with my 'Loubs'...wouldn't they just be perfect with this dress and those vintage gloves below;

When I saw these gloves it reminded me of the Peony Lim at Paris Fashion Week image I saw on Facehunter's Instagram...I love this outfit's use of my colour of the moment, mint green...its so soft, I love the layers and I think the outfit is just incredibly beautiful!

Lets hope Dorothea's Closet has a few pairs of these gloves so we don't have to fight over them!
