The art of Hormazd Narielwalla

Last week I received an email from my newly found fashion connection, Hormazd Narielwalla, a resident artist at Dege & Skinner in London's Saville Row, who invited me to the private view of his recent exhibition 'Fairy-God Fashion Mother' at The Modern Pantry, Clerkenwell.

Hormazd took the time to discuss with me the inspiration behind his art work, which was the iconic fashion muse & extraordinaire Diane Pernet, who also happens to be an icon of my own.

The event not only boasted framed collage prints of Diane Pernet with paper dresses from the Atpos archive , images and Dead Man's patterns but there was even an exclusive appearance from the star of the exhibition herself, Diane Pernet AND I was first in line to get the snap of the famed fashion lover.

Many thanks and successful wishes to Hormazd xo

Tinie Tempah @ London's Greenwich o2

I've been really bad and forgotten to blog about all the things I have been up to of late but I cannot help but start off with my views on Tinie Tempah's London concert...
All I have to say is, that Tinie killed it!
I cannot believe he was actually unsure whether he'd sell out!
Your the one! What other British Rapper is supported by Roc Nation flagship artist, J Cole....ummm...none!
Rocking to the stage in what looked like a Christopher Raeburn jumpsuit & Nike Mcflys the humble Tine Tempah sent out a gracious, celebratory announcement to his parents who celebrated their anniversary on the Friday 4th November and gave the hyped crowd an insight into his new 'autobiography' and how he celebrates success, by popping a bottle of JD...

Monica & Joe SS12 Collection Styled by Chloe Pierre

I was extremely busy last week which kept me away from my baby blog Clo Clo Closet & Tumblr baby blog but fear not...I have lots of posts coming through in the next three days to keep you updated with the latest going ons within the fashion & events industry.

In the meantime, I'm happy to update you with exciting news that I was busy styling the Spring Summer 2012 shoot for uber trendy, premium shopping website Monica and Joe.

I had a great time shooting next season's collection with the wonderful duo behind the site, Monica & Joe Wahla who are such inspirations and genuinely lovely individuals.

I also had the pleasure to work fashion photographer, Paul Weaver who is hands down, one of my favourite fashion/ editorial photographer's of all time, the professional yet down to earth model, Hayley Needs, the most adorable fashion student Helen and Grazia UK's Fashion Editor, Sophie Ferguson Jones.

Here's a sneak peek of what we got up to in images...

Rock'n'Rolla - Bob Scene [Lektor PL]

Rock n Rolla

I hate to say this, but on the film front...I've been very delayed. 2 years in fact!

My friend introduced me to the legendary British film by English, heritage, director Guy Ritchie, 'Rock n Rolla'
I was seriously hooked and am desperate to see a part 2.

I'm thinking to inundate Mr Ritchie with emails and calls to get Part 2 on the road...wouldn't mind being in it myself...seen as I wasn't too impressed with Thandie Newton's acting nor her incredibly disastrous dance moves...

Here's my best bits...

Wolf & Badger ''New Brands Party''

Last night I attended the super packed and extremely lively night at Wolf & Badger boutique to celebrate the new designer brands they have in store.

Despite the rain, there was a fabulously large crowd of photographer's, designers, photographers, PR's and clients (inside & outside the boutique), juicy champagne cocktails and to top it off, they had a wicked DJ playing the best of 90's R&B which I absolutely love because I can get 'jiggy' with that!

I took along my new friend Alex, who as you can see below, made me very proud with the efforts he made to ensure his swagger was on point and recognisable amongst us fashionistas.

Just look at his suit, accessories & freshly shaved head! What a gem!xo

I think attending the event opened his eyes slightly to the world of fashion and the great designers we have producing such luxurious products.
Dare I saw, he was impressed!

Here are some of the products 'we' was ogling all night...
