Playful Promises Launch

Last Thursday night saw the launch of Playful Promises, an exquisite, playful & teasing lingerie collection which had my heart racing.

The Playful Promises collection was presented in London's most highly defined vintage parlour, The Powder Rooms, on Marshall Street W1.

Excited fans, top press (including moi) & loyal customers were treated to a powerful, green, cocktail fountain concocted of the prestige Absinthe alcohol, treatments by the gorgeous vintage connoisseurs, the Powder Puff Girls & 20% off all store purchases.

The collection which was on display to purchase, consisted of 8 uniquely provocative pieces, is available in sizes 8-14 and they dont stop at lingerie either! The collection includes a gifting and swimwear line and will launch their very own clothing line in November 2011, designed by the fabulous Emma Parker.

I feel in love with the Etti set (below) which looked very tempting on

Versace for H&M

Yes! Its here! I can hear the heels clacking towards H&M in West End now, and yes it looks faaaaabulous darling!

Its quickly being named as the most iconic designer & high street fashion collection to date and is definitely one not to be missed with news prices are strating at a mere £20 for accessories and slightly more for the widely reported leather studded body con dress, somewhere in the region of £180

The collection goes on sale across 300 stores worldwide, as well as online, from November 17 2011
You were warned!!!
I'm particularly loving the men's hot pink suit & the remake of celebrity worn & made famous Versace dresses...

Many thanks to Donatella Versace herself & The Telegraph Fashion team for the heads up xo

Firetrap by Sunday Girl x Hero Magazine Launch

I was invited to the Firetrap by Sunday Girl launch by IPR where I saw loads of fashion know-who's and even (literally) bumped in to Topshop Heiress Chloe Green and SHOCK HORROR the TOWIE cast...unfortunately I didn't get pics of them and myself but you can get that from the Paparazzi

Firetrap announced its forthcoming AW11 collaboration with Jade Williams, AKA Sunday Girl.
Jade worked closely with the Firetrap team to design a limited edition 16 piece collection  including leather, denim and jersey pieces and accessories.
The collection is available from 22nd September from selected House of Fraser stores and two weeks later from www.firetrap.com, priced reasonablly between £35 - £260

I also went to the launch of Hero, a new Fashion Magazine. The party was held at No.3 Rivington Street and was an absolute blast! I rubbed shoulders with the beautiful Katie Eary, her relatives, Bip Ling and many other's (too many to name) but we all danced our way through old school garage & RnB

Wednesday 12th October 2011 Continued...

I also attended the super successful launch of AdventureBASH on Wednesday 12th October 2011.
The event which was held in the cool underground venue, was a hit with the target crowd of 20-30 year old's and I don't think one reveller left without a smile. Must have something to do with all the Pink Gin on offer during the night. That was one of my reasons anyway.

Along with winning the snowboard which went to this lucky bugger...

The brand itself AdventureBASH is a newly formed travel company aimed exclusively at young, social, professionals who want to participate in lively adventures and activities including mountain hiking, skiing, sailing & surfing.

"Bringing people together for a sociable group experience, the company offers a more tasteful scene – perfect for those looking for fun young singles holidays, or a smaller group looking to join an adult only crowd with like-minded travellers"

As with booking a holiday between a small group of friends or lone travel (in my case) that keeps the party content with enough activities, this proves a difficult process. AdventureBash's Managing Director Monty Mavelian, shared this predicament:

“A few years ago, as a small group of friends, we were looking to book a ski holiday that specialised in bringing together young, professional people in their 20's & 30's. We didn't want the hardcore 18 - 30's scene, but also refused to be stuck in a chalet with a group of families, kids, 'past it' parents or cocky teenagers! After endlessly searching and finding nothing we created AdventureBASH.   As fun active people we also began to realise that there was a need to create the same lively, fun sociable scene with other sports holidays such as sailing, mountain biking and surfing.

If you are after some Island hopping, awesome beach parties, excellent nightlife, group meals in beautiful seaside towns,  having your own yacht and ripping up some waves surfing, AdventureBASH is your first and only stop!

Some may ask, what is so different about an  AdventureBASH holiday compared to other travel operators and promoter deal's.... the AdventureBASH difference is a more tasteful social  and a young adult only crowd! No tacky tours, family orientated resorts, or cocky teenagers - just amazing holidays with like-minded travellers...get acquainted with a BASH!

The Uniqlo's 10th Anniversary Party held on Regent Street was A-mazing! Not only were there celebrations throughout the day, to open one of their oldest West end stores but they decided to make 'Regent Street Happy' by sending out Uniqlo Street teams who gave out balloons and random acts to consumers and passers by. I didn't know Uniqlo was such a positive brand! I initially thought their events and discount shopping codes were as far as they went. I am happily surprised. Can you tell?

Unfortunately I didn't make one of the first 4000+ customers as I didn't receive a breakfast, cashmere scarf, limited edition tote bag or any of that freeness, but I did have a good time mingling with the Uniqlo staff and other fashion, bloggers & pr people on the night.

It was truly memorable! I cant wait for the 11th & 12th Anniversary!

Congratulations to a wonderful & successful brand.

An Inspirational Woman

Flicking through my emails a few minutes ago, I came across a newsletter from the fabulous Stylist Magazine, who despite both parties hectic work schedules,  managed to speak to some of the most influential & inspirational women in flourishing UK business' & careers to date.

One comment which I was interested to read and truly moved by, were the words of Swimwear Designer extraordinaire, Melissa Odabash who I absolutely love and secretly delighted when she began following me on Twitter.

Not only was what she said was professional and most appropriate to someone in a working situation like myself (currently on my last legs of an internship with the amazing PR company Exposure PR) but it was pretty down to earth from someone of her position and refreshing to read.

Melissa Odabash founded her famous swimwear label single-handedly in 1995 - http://www.melissaodabash.com
"When women stick together, it is a formidable force. I've had female bosses treat me horribly, so I've done the opposite. If you're going to yell at someone every time you walk into the room, your employees will be on edge and less productive. I tell everyone about great interns I've had and help them get jobs. It sells papers to talk about women toppling other women; what they forget to point out is that when we form a great workplace bond, we lean on each other and help each other even years after sharing an office."
When I make it, and I believe I will, I want to shake the hands of Melissa Odabash.
